UltraDeck 2* (EDU2) is a modular medium-duty natural turf protection system. It is designed to offer a greater level of protection, rigidity, and weight loading capability than Signature’s EventDeck 1 system. This product is ideal for applications where equipment, light vehicles, pneumatic tire forklifts and generally more traffic is expected.
UltraDeck can also be used for temporary accessways or pathways on rough and uneven terrain. EDU2 is rugged enough to stage trailers, equipment and utility vehicles. The UltraDeck 2 system has been used at numerous synthetic turf facilities worldwide, including large soccer facilities, football facilities and all types of venues. The product has proven itself through repeated use as a trade show floor, special event floor, and concert floor, and due to its heavy duty construction has even been used by the U.S. military worldwide as tent and compound flooring.
UltraDeck modules are significantly larger in size and thickness than our general purpose EventDeck and EDU2’s wall thickness, surface thickness and connector size have been increased substantially to make EDU2 more robust and heavier duty.
Each UltraDeck 2 module is 24” x 12” x 1-1/8” and ships in pre-assembled 3’ x 4’ sheets for quicker installs and dismantles.

UltraDeck 2 was specifically engineered to provide optimal synthetic grass protection during your on-field events and to minimize wear and tear.
UltraDeck2 Features:
Bi-lateral, extra thick ribbing for greater structural stability, weight loading, and infill shift prevention.
A unique distributed rib pattern design that minimizes concentrated surface contact and prevents matting of the turf.
Cross module drainage channels to prevent water buildup (allow normal field water flow and drainage during rainy conditions).
No large circular support pads (avoids deep depressions, “cookie cutting” and patterns in the field and infill post removal).
Integrated ventilation between sections and throughout the system (proper ventilation helps prevent mold, fungus, and other bacteria from propagating).
A solid surface without holes keeps contaminants off of your turf and out of your infill.
UltraDeck portable flooring is ideal for use over all types of synthetic turf – both mono and duo-filament and can also be used for both rubber and sand in-fill fields. EDU2 is perfect for turf manufactured by all of the industry leaders, including FieldTurf, Sportexe, Astroturf, Mondo, and others. UltraDeck can also be used over dirt tracks and horse arenas, or over concrete or asphalt.
We understand how synthetic turf is manufactured and have designed our systems to minimize wear, surface abrasion, surface and base compaction, and contamination of the turf and the infill as a result of attendee traffic. EDU’s underside channels are contoured to eliminate sharp edges and to prevent possible damage to sensitive turf.
Each UltraDeck 2 module incorporates bi-lateral, heavy duty, cross ribbing for effective weight distribution. EDU2 has thicker ribs, distributed in an optimal pattern to provide additional stability and to prevent “cookie cutting” of your turf under heavier weights. There are no round pressure pads or other concentrated surfaces that can cause in-fill compaction.
